Thanks for this topic TM..and glad someone had rhe guts to state this on this forum...
at the cost of getting bashed I can say for sure that in this so called anti ishita forum ( apparently most people think soš)...this is the first post in a long time asking the right questions on where the cvs have gone with ramans characterization. People are quickest to pounce and judge his actions. .and any defence is because those peope are the actors fans..reallyš„±.
Yhm was unique because it had a strong male lead with a strong story to be told. While his emotions and turmoil have been dealt with time and again..not one track focuses on closure. ..its as if he doesn't need it.
And that has been just getting worse since the slot change...we get to see raman going through hell and back..but then the issue is brushed under the carpet and we are given contrived scenes where the whole family abd and neighbours and villains seem to be indicating that we should only and only be focusing on the female lead.
I did enjoy yest epi for its performances no doubt. ...but I had already lost connect with the the female lead long back to evoke any genuine sympathy.or shock... ( somewhere at the back of my mind I know that nothing will or can happen to the female lead..this is just the cvs creating another contrived drama to create a tearjerker...and have tue whole family cry and praise the female leads sacrifice to the skies...while the male lead joins the chorus...or worst still is forced to apologise for being the reason for most probs in her life...š„±)
This is the same cycle we have been seeing since mani track...worst still we should be prepped to see a parody of the male leads emotions...
Make fun of his insecurities. ..get well soon scene..or mock his need to move on in his relationship...or totally overlook his pain of losing his family...during that weird run away with ruhi drama...cringeworthy stuff by the cvs...
Don't know if they ever go back and read how they butchered their own star character/ characters.
I guess its just a mad obsession for the no 1 position...the new montage indicates that...there is no place for a steong male lead in that slot ( or that's what the cvs believe)...hope they get what they are gunning for soon n give old yhm fans a break..this is certainly no longer even a shadow of the show we signed up for.
