i agree belly dance is a dance n nothin to mock off...tht char did convey msg well..!!

but i couldnt help but chuckle at one moment coz of her line-dance ek art hai...i ws so reminded of Deepika's char's lines in Happy New Year..😆😆😆

It is an art form from Egypt. The mothers teach their young daughters this dance coz it makes their belly stronger to carry babies! It is actually a medical kind of thing not a tool for seduction like it is usually depicted! Now it is used for various other purposes like body co-ordination, meditation, weight loss, etc.
