My bit, I hv grown up reading fictions on tall, dark , handsome men and had this image of a similar built in my mind. Did not care too much for fair skinned men , Most in my family are very fair. And I love cricket . In fact crazy abt it.
So I met my man, not too tall, too very fair but very handsome. He does not connect with cricket at all. And I fell for him, in just one hr after meeting him, that's reality too. I was in this lala land, that I did not enjoy cricket for nearly two yrs after my marraige . Till date, don't know why and how that happenned!!
He does not enjoy cricket, but when I had my daughter and she was barely a month old, he told my mother and his mother, I am giving a break to K, we will be gone for 10 hrs and during the match, when I was feeling guilty for coming to watch a match leaving my month old , little girl at home, he was cheering the loudest in the ground , for me, just to get me in the mood. Like N said, we all find our fences.

Arrey yaar, forgot to add that he can be absolutely sweet on some days like that and on other days he can be an absolute pig too. On those days I , when he is piggish,I love my mother in law , more than him.

I wish i see them fighting, tormenting, manofying each other in their own unique way
I wish i see them have their first, second, third kid n fourth if they wish, their first step, namakaranam, anna prashanam, mundanam etc
I wish i see them face their worst insecurities as couples, first failure as parents and do their best as daughter/son
I wish i see them growing old together one day at a time while i grey too
I wish i am as much part of their life as they are mine

Dont what i will do without this..hope Nisha doesnt skip days and gives us a day-to-day account of II n R & B s life.. that way we can live with them..no leaps..no kid growing up to be another II or R & B in a days time..no 150 year old appas ammas or ranjans..just the way we are living our lives theres an R & B and his II living in some corner of the world cherishing their life and unknowingly giving us a reason to cherish ours
