Aww that is heart touching! β€οΈ
Yes if not a letter I would love to hear Ishita speak in similar lines to Raman in the serial. It is needed. .. As the guy who spent his 1st marriage and 6 years after that listening and somehow believing that is he is NOT worthy as a man, husband and a father ... Needs the love of his life to utter why she fell in love with him and what great an individual he is. He needs to have a phrase or sentence replacing for each bitter memory of past. He needs to know the great man, son, husband , father , brother and friend that he is and who better than Ishita to introduce him to to his true himself . Exactly! That's what a relationship is all about, while healing oneself we heal our partner as well. I would love to see Ishita say these words to Raman because God knows puttar needs to hear it, he needs to hear how amazing he is, he needs to know that he is valued and loved, he needs to know that he is appreciated and that his love will always be reciprocated to him by the love of his life, his Madrasan.
And she also opened up about herself.. Her deep scars , her insecurities .. Why she goes overboard in trying to over compensate... It's sad that YahM has not explored Ishita's past in depth as they should have... That would have probably stopped people from judging her benevolent heart... Calling her names for her self less love. As deep as Raman's scar from his past is .. Ishita is also a broken soul.. And for Raman it was Shagun who did it... For Ishita its more universal .. For a woman who has a heart overflowing with love ...to live with the pain of not being able to conceive and the rejections from Subbu and the prospective grooms and the label of the society to remind her of her 'deficiency' .. I feel that is the cruelty she deals with even now... So the scab of her wound never gets a chance to fully heal... Thankfully she has two protectors in the form of Ruhi and Raman... She will always need them as the barbs unfortunately are not going away till the mentality of the society at large changes..Sorry for blabbering... Don't know if I made sense . It makes sense! Everything you said is here is bang on, Ishita needs to open up to Raman, let her deepest fears out and share her vulnerabilities with him, give him a chance to heal her, to get to know her better, to ease away her pain and put her fears to rest. puttar has a right to know about her wife's desires, her fears, and her aspirations.Loved it. Hope you get time to write the letter from Raman to Ishita...that would complete the circle of healing love that these two broken souls found in each other. Let's see how studying goes, but I am scared writing on Raman's behalf because one he has expressed his gratitude towards her multiple times so how will I find words that could be different and two I love puttar so much that i am scared I will ruin his character by making him say something very uncharacteristic. π
