It was one of those moments where no words are exchanged but so much is expressed. The simplicity of a handwritten note from a hubby who knew she's hurting. A wife who was as anxious to move beyond their misunderstanding, their moment of hurt, bereft from each others company. A moment ago, they had only eyes for each other...them ensconced in their feeling of longing in the midst of a crowd of family and friends.
The minute she saw the note, she melted...a smile broke out...And then he joined her...and what followed next was a silent communication of apology, acceptance, teasing and joy from relief.
There was nothing dramatic in the scene...just subtle simplicity of one of those moments that defines the journey of love of a couple which sometimes encounter roadblocks ..and while they overcome those hurdles together..their bond strengthens...
It was a classic YHM moment...I just loved it..hope I have expressed it well enough.
