Chapter 3
He was rushing through the roads of Delhi in his car and the rain was pouring which was making driving all the more difficult. His only aim was to reach the destination as soon as possible. He almost rammed in to two cars and Raman Bhalla who would shout at anyone for this act today just gave them a smile and drove even faster. The feelings he was experiencing was something even more precious than what he felt during his kid's birth. He was exactly stopped at the signal just few meters before the destination. He was pissed off but was soon reminded by those happy memories which filled his heart with happiness. The rains, the dances, ice cream dates, the kisses all of it flashed in his mind which can be woven in to a movie which was all his life. Once the signal moved to green he zoomed in to the destination, parked his car and ran in to the place for his life. He met the person incharge who filled him up with all the updates. He came there everyday only to hear this news and today he got this news. He would have jumped, laughed, cried, danced had it been his house. He behaved like a very sophisticated person and moved in to the room.
His heart was pumping like he was meeting and proposing for the first time. If there was a meter that could measure the adrenaline pumping rates, the meter would have broken by now. He tried calming himself down and opened the door. She had her eyes opened at him, tears freely flowing from her eyes and made an attempt to sit up so as to welcome him. Before she can do it all alone he was there within a flash to help. She was tall, had flesh at the right places, beautiful black eyes and long straight hair and her smile would fill the place. He was just looking at her with his hands folded across his chest, like he was seeing her for the first time. He was looking at her from head to toe almost scanning her and what surprised him was the way she blushed today and with every intense look of his her eye lid kept lowering. He could not hold himself anymore, what would seem like months to people felt like centuries to him. Both were crying openly.
She then looked at him and she was sure it had only been days but the look on his face made it look like years which made her think more. He was still looking charming and handsome, though there was new light in his eyes. She was looking at his forehead and then his eyes which spoke volumes only to her, then his mouth, his jawline, broad chest, those firm abs, his perfect body and a successful person too. Any girl would loose control the minute they see him but here he was gazing at her intently like she was the only known woman to him in this world. How could she let him stand without him opening his mouth. She decided to break the silence but he beat her to it.
Raman: Finally woke up after your long sleep or still have some left to complete
Lady (cutely pouted): Raman... He asked her to keep repeating his name as it seemed eternity since he heard it from her mouth. she did as she was told and also said I love you
Raman: I love you Darling. How are you feeling ?
Lady: I am fine and it has been only few days. I want to go home Raman, our home to our family.
Raman: Darling it has not been days but it has been months to be very appropriate it has been 6 months and 18 days. I have been waiting for too long for this date. I don't have any intentions of sharing you with anyone this early not even with our babies. So please keep quiet for now and let me savour you for a while as you are going to keep talking after this. I do not want any explanations from you. I will explain every single thing in detail.
Lady: Her eyes turned teary to see the way she was loved and also felt that it has been way too long away from him and them. She could not hold herself anymore and hugged him tight. He hugged her tight like it was their first ever hug.
Raman: you have put on a little weight near your waist and it is going to be lot more fun from now on. He couldn't resist but started kissing her slowly. He inched every bit of her face and approached her lips. Your lips are looking lot fleshy dear. They have been untouched for months let them feel my love was all he spoke. He first rubbed his nose tip on her lips which did tempt her. He wetted his lips and then slowly place his lips on hers. This was going to be there first kiss in months. Both started slowly, just then his phone started to ring and he had to attend the call as it was from home. If it had been any other person he would have screwed their life. He knew they were all in the same state and were waiting only for this day.
Mr. Bhalla: Raman, It has been 2 hours already and no news from you. Tell us... Everything well
Raman: Papa everything is more than well. My Principal is already up and in action, winking at her and caressing her lips with his thumb which was only tempting her. All he could hear was his father shouting the news out to everybody at home and had he lend his ears a little bit to this side he would have heard her silent mourns. He then slammed the phone saying we are all coming with the kids and we are not listening to you. Before he could even say yes, the line was disconnected.
Lady: I am not your principal... She sounded like a happy child who has just cleared her test and had got loads of gifts for it. I am so waiting for it Raman and will my kids recognize me.
Raman: Madam, I do everything for them but still they ask about their mama. Why would they not and moreover they have gone after you and have gone experts in eating my head. They would definitely recognize their partner in crime, but he was not sure about their reaction either.
Lady: She had a proud look on her face only to hear that both her kids have gone after her.
Here she was finally, Mrs. Raman Bhalla, Dr. Ishitha Bhalla, A successful gynecologist in town.
In a while the whole family surrounded and doted upon the angel of their house. He would generally not move from where he was sitting had it been any other but today he knew all were waiting for this day. His parents were more close to her than they were to him.
