I know, cv's practically doing whatever they want with characters. Raman himself said he would have gotten Romi in jail for Mihika MMS if it wasn't for his brother-ly love. Now that he has given up on Romi, you would think he would want Romi to go through the consequences and understand.
Really, there was no need for those scenes and making Raman's stance a confusing thing. 🤔
