I think creatives do strategically 'shout', seemingly spontaneously, at actors and shooting crew. They do this to maintain the upper hand in what is a complicated relationship. For all that they need each other so much, actors and creatives both take the worst possible view of each other, and often try and claim all the credit for the work, forgetting that it is the team as a whole that works or doesn't work with the audience.
Did Divyanka and Karan get shouted at by Sandip Sikand? I hope not.
For one, the man is not very imaginative, and I find it very hard to believe that it is his vision that is driving this show.
Secondly, the creative team chops off a lot of what is shot on the editing table, which adds to the pressure on the shooting team to shoot a lot of scenes in a limited time. I like the fast pace of the show, but sometimes the pace is so fast that good moments get lost. For example, when the Romi MMS thing came out, there was so little screen time given to Mihir and Mihika. Just 1 or 2 scenes more to Mihir and Mihika would have given them a chance to show their excellent acting abilities, while also giving some breathing space to Karan and Divyanka.
Finally, being on air six days a week is a special kind of hell, and I am not surprised that the cast, the crew and the creatives get worked up. In fact, whatever politeness and life they manage outside of the show is a bonus.
