He is giving her a chance to explain herself - opening up the lines of communication - how wonderful when she merely pointed out to him just on Rakhi - they never discuss things...

Yes so true. Raman has changed so much. He trusts Ishu. Knew there must be some reason behind her action. He did not doubt her. That is huge. It shows how well Ishra relationship has grown even in this short duration of their marriage where others take years to build it or don't build even. Ye Hai Mohabbatein indeed.

@bold - so agree and also it serves to finally open an integral part of any relationship - communication.

KKHH had the famous line if you can't befriend someone you can't love them... but if you cant even talk to someone how can you even befriend them?

The reason I adore another couple on this show - Bala Vandu, is they are so open with each other recently Bala got worried cos he learned of Raman' gift to Mihir in the form of a renovated flat and had his concerns that when they would be compared he would fall short and being the elder Iyer SIL, it would be shameful for him, such a real issue in Indian families and how wonderfully it was discussed and handled, none of them was wrong and both of them were right, also how lovely was it Vandu couldn't hold back the news of her pregnancy for more than two days from her hubby I would so LOVE to see IshRa progress in a similar way like Bala and Vandu.
