Nikki, I love this serial not only because of the only leads, but also the supporting characters. Say like Mrs. Balla who is too loud and argumentative and support his kids the more. Even she could not take it and digest it when her son turned out to the one who played with Mihika's modesty. She is the same mother who cried for her daughter's life when Ishita blamed Param, her SIL and asked Ishita to leave their house. Now she knows that her DIL is a gem and if she is crying that means, her son has hurt her to no limit. She can't bear to see the teras in her daughter's eyes and for that she can punish her son. What a chain ofcharacters we have here who are more human than fictional ones.

I was thinking about the same when i saw Mrs.Bhalla taking Ishu's side... A normal mother who favours her children over her DIL but at the same time, a wonderful human being who gives a reality check to her son...

superb post...very beautifully written ...
at least i can say u wrote the thoughts so many IshRa lovers like me...
who loves Raman-Ishita equally... but if we dare to point if we don't like any action of Raman or Ishita ,we r easily labelled as their bashers ...
i really loved ur post... yes he makes me hate him for his action but on same time i feel for him, his pain... his helplessness and moreover all the mess he himself created for him willingly or unwillingly...
hopfeully this track to end soon... it is really frustrating to see ur fav character taking wrong decision, him being helpless and other side coz of him ur other fav character is suffering the pain (hope i make sense 😳)

Love the post and its been penned beautifully. In the current track my main struggle has been whether to support Raman or not? Despite the human imperfections, the fact that in his obssessive love for his son Raman has lost all perspective is bothering me to the core. A man who always stood by what was right, is suddenly so overwhelmed by his love for a spoilt brat that he has lost his footing. This is the same Raman who hesitated going to the police against Ishita's family when Ruhi went missing in the night, the same guy who beat his brother up for lying about Mihir, who supported Mihir even when Ishita wanted him arrested only because he had faith in his friend. But even then he was willing to risk losing Ruhi rather than sacrificing his friend. A guy who went against his sister's husband to do what was right and even in the current track he went after his own brother! But now that the culprit is Adi, he is completely lost! Asking his ex-wife's permission to confide in Ishita is totally against the character the CVs have built up so far. Where it hurts to see him go through this turmoil, I also hate him for what he's doing to the people who love him, unconditionally, with all his shortcomings. And that is why I posted in another topic that because of Karan Patel's impeccable portrayel of RKB, I can still sympathise with him...a feat not many actors would have been able to deliver. So I'm also looking forward to the end of this track and how Raman achieves to get back to the original RKB I fell in love with. CVs have a tough job ahead! Im just hoping its not a hurried and hotched up patch up!!!

And yes I'm also in team IshRa as each is incomplete without the other 😳

Thanks for commenting... Again, i respect you POV. In your comment, you have listed Raman's goodness alone. If you remember, this is the same Raman who didn't hesitate once before breaking his employee's family, the one who distanced himself from Ruhi for no fault of hers, the one who broke Mihir and Mihika's relationship because of his bitter past and so on... So, he has not been as Mr.Perfect even in the beginning... His character has many shades which is slowly coming out...

His love for his son has never been hidden... So, i'm not surprised by his actions... Till now, it has been a perfect blend... Just wish it goes on like that till the closure of this track...

He was away from his son, that doesn't force him to take anything wrong Adi does to accept. There's a good chance of him proving as a good father just by making Adi understand what life is and should be which is far different from the one he is in. He can't be loved by Adi, not now, he too also knows that (He desires to be loved by him, but deep inside he knows Adi isn't gonna bend so soon) instead of leading him to a wrong destination, he could have punished him in his way, not by destroying proofs etc. Court won't punish Adi, he is under 14. Raman could have taken this chance to be the savior for him. Anyways, my arguments will remain same and also yours even if Raman comes out as a hero, cos, he did some severe mistakes, which can't be justified from any angle, not even from a deceived father.
BTW, nice points by you and loved your analysis and Nikhu's also👏.

That's a nice point. Even Raman knows that but that doesn't stop him from saving Adi, especially after that tearful request from his son... Even i don't want Raman to come out clean out of this case... I want him to commit mistakes... I want Raman to apologise...

This is a sadistic approach but i love to see Ishra suffering because it brings out the depth of their relationship. As of now, happy with the progess... Anyways, thanks for commenting...

Raman is too mischievous that to comment on him is difficult. He very well knows that Ishita is not going anywhere But he also knows that he did a very big mistake , breaking her trust is the biggest mistake of his life and He is already accepting his mistake and ready to apologize for the whole life.

Ishita gives her 100% to this relation but that was not enough for Raman and Hiding this piece of information and breaking the promise which they took on bench, that for Aditya and Ruhi they will always be in sync. Somewhere Either he took Ishita for granted that she'll forgive him at the end OR He couldn't trust Ishita 100% that she can help him and protect Adi for the crime he did. BUT Why ? He knows even for families sake her Mother and she herself was ready to forgive man like Parmeet , Then Why? But this is why he is Raman ... Too complicate to understand.

He needs to open his full arms to welcome the happiness in his life , He has to trust someone 100% , It's difficult for him But he has to .

Thanks for liking it and for commenting on the same... Raman is a complicated character for sure. I don't think he took Ishita for granted. He is afraid of losing Ishita. That was evident from his dialogues yesterday. He is afraid that Ishita is never going to forgive him for breaking her trust. Yes, he has committed a grave mistake by hiding the truth which is going to haunt him when Ishu gets to know about the actual truth. But, it makes the plot interesting na...

Can't wait...

Beautiful comment... Thanks for commenting on this post... Regarding his love for Ishu and Ruhi, now, it is normal... I won't be surprised if it going to become a obssession. This man is unpredictable...

Thanks for the comment. I've never seen Raman perfect, in fact it is the imperfections in him that made me relate and bond with him. In contrast to Ishita, Raman was always a complex character with many shades. His rejection of Ruhi, at the point of tormenting himself was understandable considering his past, it just made him human; someone who loved his ex wife unconditionally was betrayed in the worst way possible.Again in the paternity track, his doubting Ruhi being his daughter was also understandable given the poison instilled by Ashok. Because at that time he was all alone and very very easily manipulated by Shagun and Ashok. Similarly his breaking Mihir and Mihika's relationship happened at a time when he had lost all hope in love and goodness of humanity. And he amended that by bringing them together ala RKB style! Ishita became his strength to finally let go of his past and not let Shagun and Ashok have any control on his emotions. But supporting your 12 year old son for a hit and run is just not in character with RKB. And we could see his angst and inner battle with himself in last night's episode when he shouts at Shagun. So I'm just hoping that the creatives find a way back to his character which they've built up in these months. Again this is my POV where a love for your child does not justify hurting other people, especially those who love and support you unconditionally and embrace you with all your flaws.

Great acting by Raman. You hate him but love him too. You feel sorry for him at most times but then want to turn around and give him a slap too at most times.

Thanks for liking it...

Raman is imperfect and that makes us admire him more. Raman is protecting Adi which is quite natural. Even Raman's protecting Shagun for Adi's sake assuming her as the culprit is also quite natural to me. He chose to hide it from his wife and rest of the family thinking that they would not spare Shagun which in turn would ruin his son's life. This might sound twisted to many of us but this action is quite understandable for an estranged father longing for his son's love. Up to this point, Raman is a human being with flaws...But the whole scenario changed when we saw that Raman knew from day one Adi is behind the accident. Then we saw him doing some severe wrongdoings that even an imperfect man like him wouldn't do considering his previous records. I tought his son being the culprit made his life easier! Why? Because, all he needed to do was to inform Ishita and the Iyers about the real culprit. He could then tell his son to ask forgiveness. For the sake of argument, let's think that the disclosure of Adi as the culprit would devastate Adi and forcing him to ask an apology would further damage his mental state. Then Raman could have asked forgiveness on behalf of his son. Now the question is what would Iyers do then? Just few episodes ago, Iyers (including Ishita) wanted to drop the accident case assuming Param as the culprit because of Mrs. Bhalla's persuasion. They wanted to let go a person who tried to rape their daughter! Raman at that time persuaded them back. Now all of a sudden Raman forgets this?! Or he thinks that Iyers would all gear up for punishing a minor?! Where a simple apology from him or Adi would have done the trick, he went on breaking laws! That's so UNLIKE Raman. Besides his suddenly losing brain, his moral ground is shaken as well. He could punish Param, Romi for their offences and scold Simmi,Toshiji for taking their sides but he couldn't just ask an apology?! In future, will he have any moral authority to tell any of them (Simmi, Ashok or even Param) that they are right or wrong? Like him, they also can come up with twisted logic of justification for a wrongdoing. Being imperfect is one thing but being undignified is a whole different scenario. As much as I admire RKB, I hate to say that he is acting as the latter one. CVs should have been more careful because Raman's losing dignity is very painful to watch. I seriously hope they come up with something appropriate to redeem RKB.
