I also saved my sons stem cells ( from the umbilical chord ). The contract is for the company to keep them protected, so that they can be used when there is need. In fact, the stem cells could be useful even for siblings and potentially even parents! In America, the contract is automatically renewed. Maybe that is not the case in India. Hence, needs to be renewed yearly. But, as far as I know there is no blood test involved, it is purely financial! So, nit sure what the blood test is for. But I have a feeling ...somebody: either Adi or Raman will be detected with some of diseases and these stem cells would then be useful.

i am working with a stem cell bank,n there is no need to renew the contract .once u enroll ,the contract is upto 21 yrs.and after 21 yrs the rights over the cells are given to the baby so he can decide further.😊

Yes, agreed there is no renewal nor is there any blood test yearly. Totally absurd things shown in the name of drama. If full payment is not done then yearly fees is due and nothing more.

Thanks for explaining ..they made a huge thing out of this to make Raman feel guilty ,its all drama i guess, lets see what happens next.

it was only to bring Shagun in the frame.
The blood test may be Raman will be diagnosed with some disease.
The stem cell saga is that it will be useful to treat him(Raman) and Shagun will put her condition in front of Ishita.
I also opened a very same thread previously...

the blood test was not related to the stem cell renewal.. Blood test was advised by ishitha and it was also mentioned in a previous epidsode...

about the stem cell renewal.. some hospitals do take signatures every year as a reassurance that the huge sum of money will b taken from the bank and they wish to renew further... I know some hospitals do that...

But ofcourse both the hospitals happned to b the same and on the same day.. thats the serial land we are talking about ... lol

But wat an amazing episode.. just loved it
