OS - A lot like love ..... Update Part IV.. Page IV

Hi - i have just started watching the show and loved it.. was very active on the forum 2 years back.. loved saath nibhaana saathiya then... now again have got hooked to the show...

writing a small OS... havent proof read it.. please excuse any mistakes.. hope you like it...

Part I

Raman gets up in the morning and frantically looks around for his phone to check office mails; he realizes it is a Sunday when he sees no new mails in his inbox; he relaxes a bit mentally and stretches himself; today he will relax and laze around as it is year-end (December last week ) and the work front is relaxed for most companies who work for US clients (I have recently started watching the show and do not know exactly what he does.. so I am just making this up as there is no other way I see out lead character relaxing even on a Sunday !!! hehe ...)

He looks to the other side of the bed and smiles to himself. Ruhi is perched right on top of Ishita's stomach and Ishita is helping her recite her poem. He pretends to be asleep and enjoys the scene. He realizes how Ishita's presence has brought a lot of serenity to his life. He closes his eyes and smiles to himself;

Suddenly his mother comes in their room and asks Ishita to pack Ruhi's clothes; Mrs Bhalla says that she and her husband are going to her sister's house and her sister would like to meet Ruhi so they are planning to take her along; They would be coming late in the evening; the others would be accompanying them as well; All would be coming late in the evening; Ishita does the needful and bids everybody a goodbye;

She closes the door and comes back to the room where raman is still asleep or pretends to be asleepJ She does not wake him up as he hardly takes any rest on weekdays; She takes her space adjacent to him on the bedside and reads a book; When she starts she is sitting on the bed, her back resting against a pillow, after 20 minutes she has slowly and steadily slided down and is now lying on the bed next to Raman; her eyes fight with her against their will to remain open and finally they win and Ishita falls asleep;

Raman smirks to himself and gets up and rests his elbow on the bed to look at her;"rumba beautiful"(very pretty)...he murmurs to himself... he sends a text message to his mom thanking her for giving them the privacy for a day.. she sends an understanding smiley in reply...

Nice scene, i was wondering why they didnt take ishita but all makes sense with mother son plot 😳

Part III

Raman held her close; He just didn't know what to say; He looked into her eyes and asked if she was ok ! She just nodded her head.. He asked her to sit on the bed and went to the kitchen and brought water. There his mom comes and he tells her everything. They decide to handle parmeet and the matter between themselves. After all they had to uphold Ishita's dignity. Mrs Bhalla asks him not to worry and says that throwing him out was good riddance to bad rubbish after all there were young girls in the family and this behaviour was not acceptable and was shameless.

Raman entered his room and closed the door behind him. He goes to Ishita holds her hands and asks her to sip water; He asks her if Parmeet had hurt her or done any objectionable thing in the past; Ishita told him everything; He withheld his anger and disgust with a lot of control;

He told her he knew he had been a jackass with her, but he said he could not describe in words what she meant to him; and no longer was ruhi the only thread that tied them together; She was his friend and wife and he valued her more than anybody else; He said he hoped she would trust him enough to confide into him anything that was troubling her;

She was too tongue-tied to answer; First the altercation with Parmeet had drained her of all her energy and then Raman puzzled her; She didn't know what to do.. He has so concerned and nice to her; Not even once had he doubted her or questioned her; She had been so hesitant in talking about Parmeet's behaviour with him; She thought he was a MCP; But his behaviour was such a surprise; She just kept staring at him; Raman smiled;

He switched on the AC and helped her lie on the bed and covered her with a blanket; He told her to forget the incident; He said in Delhi we meet such rogues on the street it is unfortunate due to me you had to suffer that ba****d in this house for so long... ishita laid on the bed but couldn't sleep as her thoughts kept going to parmeet and the indignation she suffered for past few days;

Raman sensed she was restless and pressed her forehead; He came closer and did so. After a while they were both sleeping very close with raman's hand still on her forehead...

Before he fell asleep he promised to himself he will get his act together and care for her; No longer would he let anybody walk over his wife be it shagun, Aditya, subbu's mom anybody

[ flasback over..]

now we goto sunday where raman and ishita are alone in the house...
