Though Raman said he will change himself but he can't change his basic traits -

He thinks he is the victim all the time others are suspects (rather convicts)

He gives no value to others self respect (specially to Ishita)

He will never give any benefit of doubt too anyone but always want one for himself

1. Why he asked Iyer's to keep Trisha as PG when he knows the problem between Mihir and Mihika - Total Mess... is he so naive

2. Ishita is a crap box for him and he will dump everything on her wherever he wants and he is using her.. to satisfy his own EGO

3. He was quick to judge that Ishu took Ruhi from School to trouble him.. (no benefit of doubt for Ishu specially) but he wants everyone to know why he made Ishu apologize to Adi and Shagun

I feel ishu should actually go from his life for sometime ..

well he will be changed give him time to ... its not easy to be fooled and cheated by your wife and having a son who hates u to the core

he is wrong by not giving love to ruhi but at least he understand he is hurting ruhi in the process

don't worry it will take time but he will be a great father

If Ishita goes out of his life (even for sometime) difference kya rahega uske aur shagun mei!
I think like bala said she should just give him some time...He is completely lost his way but will catch the path soon! I was surprised for that sudden change too but at least he got that he is hurting Ishita and Ruhi n i hope he understands Ishita ASAP!

I am not expecting Raman to fall for Ishu but he can start respecting her... Let us see if that happens...

The main shift in YHM yesterday was that

He admitted what he did to Ishita for the sake of Adi was wrong
He let out the a lot of the pain/self-hatred/grief he was holding as a failed father/of losing Adi - this cleansing I think was much necessary
Admitting Ruhi was important and couldn't be over looked
He has admitted to making mistakes and yet not changing

We may see some changes in him as a father but he has other unresolved issues being a rejected/betrayed husband/man, a failed marraige, distrust of women and his akkad etc

So far he has indicated that he would even dein to apologize to IShu - but for Ruhi's sake.

So any genuine change in him re: Ishu might be begrudging but still has a long way to go

However that he has admitted/acknowledged/is aware of the listed item above is a first and necessary step to real change

But definitely no overnight changes - a big ship takes time to turn and this one is carrying major baggage

I don't find any more reason to defend or sympathize Raman. He gets sympathy only because he expresses his pain infront of everyone. And Ishita doesn't express, so most of us think she is okay and Raman is the sufferer only. A crying baby..haan! It's really easy to get fooled by a crying baby like Raman.
