Looks like both are staging this whole thing - so that Raj misunderstands Lata... and the same episode of what happened to his mom will get repeated ... Lata will then realize this is what happened to raj's mom ...

Daaima has brought dev back for sole reason of separating Raj and Lata just like she separated rajs parents. She admitted in her mind after her meeting with dev in the park/garden. What she could not stop was raj/lata SR so it is going to be a little difficult for her.
