Dear all,
I am trying to understand Abha's character and need your help in fill the gaps in it.
Firstly, she is a gold medalist of whatever she studied, and we would expect her to make decisions at least like an average human being. She does not seem to spend much time thinking about her situation as an all encompassing thing. Should we blame the CVs or indian school system for this?
Now, she was a person who used to express what she stood for before. There are many examples like, she talking Karan out of throwing rubbish on the road, getting angry towards her first fiance Vikram, defending herself when Vimal blamed her on the day of Holi and many other occasions.
She used too speak very freely with Sanskar before. Why does not she do it now? One can argue that everything is taking place too fast for her. But, isn't it because she is too slow to react???
Another problem I find is it is easier for us to understand the character from their talking to themselves or talking to others about their plans. But, our little princess neither admits her feelings to herself nor talking much to others about her. When she spoke to Lata also, she didn't tell her about how Karan was standing outside the house with Mangalsutra - at least that was not shown. How are we supposed to understand her nature?
Seriously guys, I am clueless about her nature. She has yet to prove that she is a thinking human being and not a machine that obeys all commands except that of Karan's and her own heart's.

I understand your frustration...
The least she can do is speak something.Anything, does not necessarily have to open her heart to everybody if she is not ready yet. But, sitting idle and staring at everybody who talks to her is something we will not be able to stand for long...

I already do my analysis on her character (link https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/yahan-main-ghar-ghar-kheli/1381988/abha) education is a good thing but when you do not know how to use it at the right time is useless, I think HP's are very smart for what reason? and although they have developed the character with an intelligence of Abha force but if we notice Abha decided to react when it was never for its own interests but that of his childhood home of SB, the honor of his family, against the honor of his father ect ... I think she never thinks for herself except once or his father had wanted the bride why did she refuse? well I think she was already beginning to love Karan then she does not see her marry anyone. I think the character is made of Abha ditch when it is expected that there is no response when you think she'll say anything she responded
