You woke up with a jolt. Your clothes were damp with a nervous perspiration. You can feel the air getting heavier and heavier so much so that you could feel something solid as you reach out to touch it. You immediately draw back as you feel exasperated by your surroundings.
You are in complete and utter shock as you glance at your hand and see the bruises on it. It is like someone gripped on your hand as tight as possible leaving the handprints as a memento of its presence. You could feel the beads of sweat descending your face as you take deep breaths in attempt to calm yourself but you know it's not working.
You say a tiny prayer under your breath as you plop down back into your bed. You momentarily shut your eyes but you feel someone's heated gaze on you. You try to ignore it but you can feel it burning through your eyelids .you open your eyelids in surrender but there was nothing there. You pulled up the sheets till your chest as you forced yourself to return to sleep. You get the same feeling that someone is watching as you did before but this time you force yourself to shut your eyes.
Suddenly you become painfully aware of your inability to breathe. You find yourself gasping for air as the blanket tightens your body to your bed. You try to throw your sheets down but your body doesn't obey you. Tears start streaming down your face but the situation keeps getting worse.
But just when you lost all hope you are able to breathe again and you can help but smile but your happiness is short lived. As you attempt to get up some force pushes you back down. You can feel an unnatural load on your chest. You want to scream but don't know. You shut your eyes in a final attempt to escape but they fly open immediately.
And in a split second you see the most horrendous sight you have ever laid eyes on. A woman is floating above you and the rancid odor of rotting flesh overwhelms you. It stings your eyes. You could hear her horrid laughter tear your eardrums. You try to cover your eyes but it is of no use. You have no control over your body.
"I got you now…"
And that was the last thing you ever heard again.
