Did you plan to become an actor?
Not really, because it just happened. I don't believe in planning. When something happens, I work accordingly.

Your first tele-serial?
My first tele-serial was Balaji's 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki', in which I played a negative character. I was lucky to make a fine start to my acting career.

How does it feel that 'Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Mein' has completed 500 episodes?
I am extremely happy about it. It is a great privelege for me to work with the Rajshri team.They are so warm and make you feel comfortable.

Tell us about your role!
I play the role of Saumya- a bad guy who ultimately turns over a new leaf. This transformation is the most interesting part of my character. The journey from the beginning till today has been quite fascinating and satisfying.

Tell us about your co-actor Reema Kapoor!
Reema is a complete professional and we have a wonderful comfort level with each other.

Do you like playing negative characters?
As an actor I would definitely like to play different characters to ensure my growth as an actor.

What is the difference in working with Balaji and Rajshri teams?
Both are big names with a professional approach. While the Balaji serials are always on the look out for someting new and contemporary, Rajshri has been well known for maintaining its traditional human values, which is missing these days.

What do you do to relax and unwind from stress?
Read an interesting book, watch a good movie or listen to music.

Any Bollywood offer?
There have been offers but at the moment, I can't think of anything else as I am shooting for25 days in a month.

Your future projects?
Nothing is planned.
