After almost 2 weeks of W*F moments, today is an episode that I finally watched and loved. And there was so much to it that I can't help myself. I need to pen down my feelings and thoughts here.
First what a beautiful start to the episode. After staying silent yesterday, Aditya decided that he had to talk to Jhanvi and kept pushing her until she agreed to meet him. The anticipation was so evident in Aditya's eyes. It was heartwarming. And then the meeting at Old Clock Garden. The way Aditya admired Jhanvi, it was obvious that a love confession was coming. What I liked about the whole scene was how both weaved in the past, everything that happened between the two, their feelings, everything into their confession. They didn't leave anything hidden to be used against them in the future. They know everything about each other and that makes them strong together. Beautiful. And 2 hugs. Tight, loving hugs. These 2 are ready to take on anything Nisha can throw at them and give it back to her.
I liked the juxtaposition at the end of the scene. The quick camera moves between Nisha's angry, sad face and Jhanvi's happy face was well done by the directors.
And then the beautiful dinner and dance. Wah kya baat hai! I'm really loving the characters of Survi and Jhanvi's mother. No matter what happens, they both keep telling Jhanvi to go after what her heart says is the right thing to do and to help Aditya.
The sudden shift from romance to Nisha's antics was nicely done, but bloody Nisha! She won't let Jhanvi live in peace. I have a feeling the show will end with either her death or her going mad or maybe in realism she will finally go to jail. What I don't get is how she is still outside when Aditya can easily get the goons to reveal who paid them to kidnap and rape Jhanvi. Like seriously just get it over with!
And then Jhanvi yelling at Aditya. For a few seconds I was shocked that her trust went out the window just like that. Here Aditya was siding by her, and she couldn't even trust Aditya this much. I was ready to scream in anger. But then the flashback and I was laughing like mad. Man these 2 are awesome! They played such a good trick on Nisha. They made Nisha believe that they had separated and Jhanvi was never coming back. Wah man wah! I salute the both of you. And I salute the CVs for showing the strong Aditya again! Thank you!!!!
I would like to point out today the realistic streaks that the CVs have brought back:
- A simplistic confession - Often times the CVs of Indian TV shows overdo these love confessions, but the simple confession and celebration was lovely to see and more realistic in nature.
- Nisha's plan - Yep realistic enough.
- Jhanvi and Aditya's trust in each other - Thank you CVs for not making these 2 the regular Indian TV leads who have no trust on their love.
- The hidden plan - Too often we see the protagonist of Indian TV shows go right up to the vamp and declare her plan and how she will unveil the vamp. Puhlease. If someone was causing havoc in my life I would do everything behind his/her back to teach him/her a lesson and I like that the CVs have brought that in here as well.
So here's a toast to the return of Woh Apna Sa!
