I doubt Shankar will die. Shilpa mentioned that one character (Ashish Vidhyarthi's) was lifted from Sarkar. That is the only real resemblance. So I don't think Shankar will die. Shourya as 'waaris' may bring a new twist in the story, but it won't lead to death.
