I agree... but to be honest, you can't really compare them. As a viewer I would feel more invested towards Shaurya and Simran because I am getting to see how their romance begins etc. etc.... but that is not the case of Shankar-Gayatri, we haven't followed their journey together so there isn't that feeling of euphoria you get when ur favorite couple gets together.
But I think Iq and Shilpa's chem is pretty good, they've got the "look" and chemistry of a married couple right down to pat.

I really like both couples..Shaurya and Simrin are really cute..And Shankar and Gayatri have great chemistry...Thier jodi of being a married couple is really great!
