Update:
A woman is praying in the mandir and offers milk to God on behalf of Mansha, Tanya and Trishna [?] but says that she is not offering it for Sujata as it's his responsibility for Sujata's marriage. She expresses her concern about getting all her daughters married of and eagerly tells God that a boys side is coming to see her daughter Trishna.
The mother offers her prayers and heads down the mandir stairs where she bumps in to a Mrs. Chopra who excitedly tells her that se has good news. The mother becomes happy and rushes home where Mansha is shown playing tennis. She drags her daughter inside and tells her husband that the Chada's are arriving at 12 to see Trishna. He grumbles about having to miss lectures but she ignores him and goes inside to prepare everything. The father and Mansha joke around that the mother is always obsessed with getting her daughters married of but Trishna will blow up when she hears what's going on.
The mother goes tow the kitchen where she sees her daughter Sujata who calms her down and informs her that Dadi has gone out. The mother tells Sujata to talk to Trishna and warn her not to kick up a fuss.
Upstairs, Mansha and Tanya take the prospective Grooms photo and go to wake up Trishna, singing that they have to come to show her a future husband. Trishna gets up and sings back that she wants to marry someone who loves her and not just anyone. Sujata also comes and tells her to get ready whilst Trishna hugs her mother and says that she won't get married because she wants to stay with her parents whilst Mansha and Tanya also say that they are interest in books and tennis is more than books. [the whole scene is sung by the girls]
Outside…
Sujata tries to tell Trishna to get ready but she is furious that she doesn't want to see any guy. Sujata explains to her that their mother is really worried and she [Trishna] should at least get ready for their mothers sake.
Inside…
All the girls get together with their father and tease their mother about her wanting to marry them all of but she gets emotional saying that she can't wait to get their hands painted in Mehndhi.
Kitchen…
The mother complains to Sujata about Dadi bringing her friends along when there is so much work to do. She then takes the tea out to Dadi who tells Kulraj [the mother] that she is dieting and so wants sugarless tea. Dadi also adds that she [Kulraj] should also think about losing some weight. Kulraj just smiles politely and tells Dadia bout the Chadha's coming to see Trishna. Dadi replies that she is very busy and asks her to handle everything. One of Dadi's friends points out that Sujata should get married first as she is older than Trishna. Hearing this Sujata gets upset but covers up by saying that she hasn't finished her studies yet.
She hurries to the kitchen where she starts crying. Kulraj follows her and apologises for not being able to say anything in front of Dadi's friends. Sujata tells her not to worry and in the future is anyone asks the same question then she should tell them that Sujata hasn't completed her studies yet.
Kulraj becomes distraught and asks Sujata why she has never questioned her. To this Sujata replies that she knows the decision her mother has made is in her best interests. She smiles and leaves.
Later…
Kulraj learns that Trishna is planning to go out and heads to her room where she starts scolding her. Trishna says that she has some important work and will be back soon and tells Kulraj to get Sujata married first. Kulraj breaks away and tells Sujata to make Trishna understand.

Overall, a good first epi....liking all the characters so far though it has a distinct closeness with P+P [Not that I mind but if it is; I hope they don't mess up Darcy!😆]
A lot of Ghana bhajana but all in good taste....definitely do not miss!😃
