Zee TV launches a new serial, Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah' from April 21st at the 7pm slot..
'Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah', the new daily soap to launch on Zee TV, starting April 21st is the tale of a parents' struggle whose desire is to get their daughters married into respectable families. The serial which will kick-off at the 7 pm slot replacing Shreya Creations' Har Ghar Kuchh Kehta Hai has a mixed bag of experienced actors as well as new faces.
Playing the parents are the talented Himani Shivpuri and Raju Kher, while Sonali, Parivaa Pranati, Shalini Chandran and Roopal play the daughters.
Parivaa who was last seen in Sony's Salaam Zindgi plays the second daughter of the family Trishna who is very frank and speaks her mind. Talking about her role, Parivaa states, "I love my parents and sisters a lot, but I am a person who has a mind of her own. I am very rigid in my thoughts, and do not budge to the family pressures forcing me to agree for marriage".
While Parivaa plays the carefree girl, newcomer Sonali essays the eldest daughter Sujata, who is a perfect daughter and a doting sister. Shalini Chandran, who was earlier seen as Maithili in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki plays the third sister Tanya who is a quiet and studious girl. The youngest of the lot is played by Roopal, who has directly bounced from the sets of 9X's reality show Yeh Hai Jalwa, where she was part of Husein's team of 'Kal Ke Kalakar'.
Hope the serial does well in the race for TRPs….
