Before you think me completely bonkers, I thought I'd reiterate now why I think they make a good couple vs. Yuv/Tanya.
You know what Dear Mr. and Ms. Creatives have in store for us, and of course, you TAAJ fans, don't you?
Aah, at this the pinnacle of their creativity 😆 😆 😆 , they are going to throw whatever reason is left and throw it away:
-Yuv helps Trishna on Rajdeep
- Tanya gets jealous
- Tanya is shocked she is jealous, oh what does that mean? Why do I feel this way? We'll see these lines I'm sure.
- Yuv and Tanya get into disagreement.
- Tanya says I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU. I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT. Well, duh, she never cared about it.
- Yuv will think it over, reach deep, and realize his love for her.
Of course, Kanaiyah, would impact the above. But in this, Yuv would save Tanya and they realize their grand passion for each other. 🤬
I hope the creatives read emails/posts or read anything at all, but I thought to write. While most of the forum has provided a point by point account for Yuv and Tanya being together on many posts, polls, and including updates, I thought I'd give it a quick try, once again, to establish the other side.
I'm a romantic at heart. 🤣 No really, I am. We're talking everything from Wuthering Heights to Shakespeare, to movies to Karan and Lakshmi on Ghar ki Lakshmi Betiyaan. I know that with romance, you have to suspend disbelief and I do. But this little plot twist is so stupid that I just have a real problem with it, no matter how much I try otherwise. But I continue watching it!
Yuv and Trishna were what I call an incomplete love story. It was NOT allowed to happen by circumstances and invariably stupid people (Kul, Tanya, etc). By stupid, I mean either they are self-focused, manipulative, or uncertain people. But THIS does NOT mean it should not happen. To me, it sounds like Trish does want to honor her vows and be a good wife for Rajdeep, but I sense at times, she forces herself into thinking like that. Yuv has not worked out his feelings, either for Trishna or Tanya. I don't even think he has "those types of feelings" for Tanya, but the creatives will surely change that.
I personally find the Yuv / Trishna/ Tanya story DISGUSTING. I'm sure people think it's a grand love story about honor and sacrifice. Yes, I guess you can twist it as such. But at the end of the day, there is betrayal between sisters, lovers, family, etc. And the thing I despise most--how Tanya and Yuv and gang all just "get" into situations like marrying your sister's boyfriend. I know you view it honorable, etc. but once you peel away all the circumstances, you see hurt and betrayal.
I know that right now the show is building conflict that will lead to a desired end. But whenever they show Trish and Yuv look at each other or help each other, I can't help but to wonder whether they are even remotely over each other. The point of these is to get poor Tanya all worked up and bothered, setting up a very tiresome, predictable end with this and other very tiresome characters.
My sense of fair-play, mutual responsibility between lovers, and responsibility for our actions, have been morphed into rape leading to broken love leading to marriage leading to love? As far-fetched as it may be and that's okay, it just is in very poor taste.
I think Trishna has done a lot of growing up. She is today loving of her family including Tanya, she takes care of Tanya, tries to protect her family, and only grudgingly asked Yuv for his help. And I do believe she is the right person for Yuv. Both laugh, are happy, and make things happen. They are both capable, independently strong. With Tanya, the story is anything but. She may be cute, nice, a damsel in distress, but there's nothing that fully clicks with Yuv. You may mention how she takes so much on herself and cares about everyone, but that's like everyone on Vivaah. I don't know--Yuv and Tanya feel like a dud. What are they going to talk about 2 years from now?
Just a few thoughts. 😃
