Today's update will be brief because I am a bit busy with exams. Please bear with me.
Vedika wakes to find someone sitting opposite her. She thinks its Vikram but turns out to be Sushant. He says that she has committed a heinous act, and he can't swallow deceit. He breaks off their engagement.
After he leaves, Vikram comes and says that Vedika has lost 3 relationships in one go: her child, Sushant and himself. She says she only regrets losing Sushant, and that is because of Vikram. He leaves in exasperation. She vows to get back on him for what he has done.
Vasu brings clothes for Shreya's baby but Shreya says her child will have nothing to do with her. Vasu leaves saying no one can take her right of being mausi to the child.
Vikram comes to the Rai Singhania mansion when he comes to know the news (he had called up Sushant to taunt him) Taking Vasu aside, he tells her the tale. She is shocked that he thinks it's good news. She reminds him how traumatic it is for Vedika.
Sush is remembering past times with Vasu when she herself walks in. He coldly reminds her that she has no right to use his house keys now. She has come to plead for Vedika, that he shouldn't leave her at this difficult time. Before she leaves, he asks for his keys back.
Vasu calls up Ved saying Sush will never leave anyone at a difficult time. Just then he himself comes to meet Ved. She asks forgiveness and begs him not to break their relationship. He says that had he loved her, he would have broken off with her; but he will stay with her because he doesn't love her. She still loves Vikram, and he still loves Vasudha. Their marriage will be based not on love but on hatred of someone else.
Vasu is flashing fire at Vikram, when Sush calls up Vikram to invite him for mata ki chauki at his house. When Vikram and Vasu arrive, they see that Ved is with Sush. He asks them to suggest a name for the baby. When he had gone to the hospital, the doctor was on the verge of aborting the child; but since Ved had signed in the consent form that Sush was the father, he was able to prevent it. Vikram thanks him for saving his child. Sush says that the child will bear his name, because he wants to see Vikram suffer with the realization of what he has lost. Vasu is smiling like a long-suffering martyr.
