After watching today's episode I think I will have to quit watching this show; Smriti seems to have borrowed Kekta's brains while writing the script.
Sushant tells Vedika in front of Vasu and Vikram that he is now sure he has found the right life partner. Vikram wishes sarcastically that they be as happy as he and Vasu are, and takes her away. Vedika asks Sushant if he is getting engaged to her out of pity. He says he pities himself actually; but since they are both in the same boat at least they can support each other. The doctor comes in to change Ved's dressing. As soon as Sush leaves she thanks the doc for faking her reports, making out her minor injury to be life-threatening, and promising him solid payment.
Shreya gets a call saying that Ved has slashed her wrists. Ved and Shreya vent their anger about Vasudha. Shalini listens to all this with growing unease.
Outside, Vikram is raging about how Ved could have done this. Vasu asks him why he is so angry when he was doing the same thing. Sush comes and sees Ved's reports in her hands. He tells her not to bother as Ved is his responsibility now. Vasu watches him go with misty eyes. Then Naina calls saying Shalini has got high blood pressure. She rushes home. Vedant stops her saying Shalini doesn't want to meet her, and that they have all decided she can't stay in this house any longer. Vasu begs to see her mother one last time before going, but Vedant refuses. Then Sandhya comes saying that of Vasu leaves, she will leave too. Vedant asks her to go inside. After much insistence, she obeys. Shreya screams at her for siding with Vasu and this leads to a war of words between her and Vedant.
Vasu sits by the side of the sleeping Shalini and silently tells her that she is still her Vasudha, that she should trust her daughter just a bit, and that she never knew that keeping her promise to DRS would be so difficult. Then she goes and packs her things and comes downstairs. She runs into Vedika who asks her why she is leaving. She tells the family that she is in fact grateful to Vasu, as it is because of her that she has found a new "humsafar"……..then she calls out to Sushant who enters and confirms that he and Ved are engaged. Vasu looks defeated.
Vedant is discussing all this with Sandhya, but then says its time they forgot all this and went on holiday. She wants Indian destinations but he insists on London, and gets annoyed when she doesn't fall in with his plans. As he leaves the room, his cell phone rings. Sandhya picks it up. A doctor from London wants to speak to Vedant or his wife. He tells Sandhya that it is no use coming to London as her tumour is in and advanced stage and there is no cure. Sandhya lets the phone fall and clutches her head in horror.
Preview: Some louts are mocking Vedant about the situation in his home. His fist clenches.
Since the timings have changed, it's a bit difficult for me to watch Viruddh now. I will update tomorrow but don't know about next week. If someone else can do the job, it would be much appreciated.
