Karan to make stage debut with SRK's guru
Karan Mehra aka Vedant of Virrudh will be doing a play with Sir Barry John, who was SRK's guru. This will be his stage debut.
A thrilled Karan says, "It's my honour that I'm doing a play with SRK's guru," adding, "The play is inspired from an Italian drama called Servant of Two Masters. It's my first commercial play so I am little nervous and excited at the same time."

A thrilled Karan says, "It's my honour that I'm doing a play with SRK's guru," adding, "The play is inspired from an Italian drama called Servant of Two Masters. It's my first commercial play so I am little nervous and excited at the same time."
Quizzed about his role, he reveals, "I'm playing Khuram who is about to get married. There is a whole lot of drama before marriage and then a twist in the tale. The difficult part is that it's in Urdu. Raghuveer Yadav and Kunal Kapoor are also going to be in it."
Karan is all praise for Kunal. "His height is amazing. I liked his acting in Rang De Basanti and am eager to see his new film Laaga."
And what about Virrudh? "The audience will find more depth in my character Vedant. He is about to declare to his sister Vasudha (Smriti Irani) that he's going to launch a new TV Channel following which she will be tense. Meanhile, Vedika (Anchint Kaur) is happy as this could create a spat between Vedant and Vasudha," informs Karan.
