Shalini wakes up restlessly, hearing DRS's screams in her dream. She rushes out to find him trapped in the flames. She tries to pull him out but fails. Then vasudha comes out and rescues both of them. (Patently dumb—the entire family was watching but no one had the brains to throw a bucket of water! It wasn't an electrical fire after all!😕)
When DRS wakes up, his first words are—"See, Guruji, I have defeated death again."😆 Guruji tells him that his life had been endangered by his own loved one and it was someone else who saved him due to his recent good actions. Then Nani tells him how Shalini had risked her own life to save him.
Vasu has taken Shalini to Sushant's place. Shalini is trying to put the sindoor back in her maang when DRS comes in and asks her to come home with it. Vasudha says that they will not return to the house as long as Vedika is there; they will stay with Sushant (best idea so far!😉). But Shalini goes to DRS and he gently leads her out. Vasu wonders why he is playing this game. (This Vasu is so boring—she gets left alone with Sushant at night,and all she can think about is her khadoos baap!😡😆)
Vikram is designated ACP. Just then DRS calls and says he has to file a complaint against the person who tried to burn him alive, and it is the same person whom Vikram had been intending to take pheras with—Vedika. DRS wants a non-bailable warrant against her. Vikram is shocked but abides by his duty.
At the breakfast table, Vedika has no recollection of the previous night. DRS tells her that after last night's incident, the father-daughter relation between them was also burnt to bits. Ved is still trying to understand when Vikram comes in and arrests her. Ved wonders why her two closest relations are being so "generous" with her this morning. The policemen lead her away.
Guruji gets an intuition while meditating that DRS's life is in graver danger than ever.
At the jail, Vedant comes to meet Vedika. He asks if she has changed her ideas somewhat—he still remembers how she got him arrested on Raksha bandhan. Vedika asks him why he has come when he recognizes only his step sister as his real one. Vedant says, he wants to know whether Sandhya told him her whereabouts before leaving. Vedika retorts that girls whose fathers are dead and whose boyfriends are busy in "leadergiri" are usually found in brothels and dance bars. Vedant furiously tries to hit her, but the officers lead him away.
Preview: Bua asks where DRS is, since he is the one who does the installation of the Ganpati idol every year. Vedika comes in saying he must be in hell. Then she touches Shalini's feet (surprise surprise!😛) while Bua calls DRS to find out where he is.
