Aashka Goradia plays the vamp who's also a fashion stylist, in Viruddh
Aashka Goradia was out of action post-Sindoor Tere Naam Ki, but now the actress is back. She will now be seen in Viruddh as Naina, a fashion stylist by profesion. The actress will be given a new look, unlike her typical girl-next-door look in other shows.
Says Aashka, "Viruddh has a huge star cast and is one of the most interesting shows on air. I will play Naina, a high-profile, glamorous fashion stylist with negative shades. I have been waiting to work with Smriti and it's a dream come true for me. As of now I am happy doing just one show at a time."
Commenting more on her role, Inderjit, creative head of the show, says, "Aashka will make her entry as a stylist designing the bridal wear for Shreya (Mihika Verma). Aashka is perfect for the role. She has the right look, age and the attitude which we wanted to see in Naina." Aashka has shot for one episode so far which will be on air this week.
