Can a Woman like Shahlini be like this...

just wondering.. shahlini is such a strong charactered woman, as we have seen before... I know a rape can be devastating, but can a woman like shahlini get so crazy after it???

Look at KT in Kyunki... She is absolutely fine.. she was a little disturbed before... but then ok.. can shahlini be like this for 26 years????? 😕

Well you have to take everything into account. First her father who was the closest person in the world to her committed suicide. His name as well as her was slandered all over the media and papers. Now the slandering and his losing his position, financial, as well as social loss was enough to make her father give up on life Yet she still survived. Her name is linked with her dad's so she too suffers the consequence. Next his committing suicide. Death of a family member sometimes drives people into depression and this kind of death is horrible. Then when she confronts the people who did this to him, she sees no remorse. On top of that someone was holding her down, while someone else was doing something unimaginable to her. In addition were people watching. And it gets even better, they tried to burn her alive. Plus she is pregnant. It seems as though she might never even have kissed a guy, and then this. I'm not sure what happened in Kyunki, so I can't comment on that. But if you add the stress factors up that Shalini went through. Well I just watched an episode or two of the show and it was a bit shocking.

I think circumstances r different..Shalini when she was disturbed was sent to Mental Assylum bet'n mad ppl and also wat happened with KT in kyunki which she even doesn't remember properly and here Shalini was being raped when she was in her senses and tht too not a single person there were too many who holded her and then mental assylum thing..KT has lot many ppl to support her n console there was no1 with Shalini.

i think any incident like that drive anyone crazy also depends on supporte...Shalani had no family support unlike KT who is surrounded by so many loved ones..that makes the difference...being strong isnt the only thing..also i feel for shalani as she jus lost her dad n she didnt even have time to recover from that...that she gets rapped so much happens in ones life that they bound to go mad. i sympathy shalani n hopefully vash will get her mother some justices also vedika will do something as someone like DRS should be punished in the cruliest way possible!! 😡

rape can have many tragic effects to a girl's mind some might get over it eventuallyy some depending on the circumstanc may never like shalini

its possible. For different people such a thing may hav different effects. In KT's case she doesnt even remember much of it but in this case she was in her full senses and also a lot of people were there. She was even left burnt 2 die. In one terrible night she lost everythin dear to her and this is a big trauma. She may not be strong enough to fight back

Dear In Kyunki KT WAS DRUNK or HIGH and passed out bcoz of the thing they put in the Holi drink...so KT BASICALLY REMEMBERS NOTHING!!! She just knows she was raped but she doesnt remember, she doesnt have anything to remember SHALINI case is different....

And I THINK ITS VERY INSENSITIVE TO SAY THAT KT is FINE - Just coz Mouni is a bad ACTOR 😡 😡 🤢

I totally agree with you. Kyonki is all bakwas..there is no comparison. Anju0930 u r very naive.

i don't really know but everyone's brain is different and we all take care of situations differently. I do think it's a big thing as well 😃
