Virasat, BR Films' prime television production will be taking a 13-week break. Is that decision breaking the heart of the people involved in the serial?
When contacted Sangita Ghosh said: "I am totally unaware of it .It's news for me. Right now the story is not heading anywhere. But I'm sure there will be 'hook' point in the story which will bring the viewers back."
"Right now I am doing only this show but if it takes a break it will be good for me because I recently bought a new house and I want to settle things in it. I'll also get the opportunity to think about some movie project, which I seriously want to do. I have received a couple of offers and for that I have to work hard as well as meet lots of people. I'll get a chance to meet my friends or I'll go for holidays. As far as the serial is concerned it depends upon Ravi Chopra whether he would want to change the story a bit or the timing. But I'm not insecure or anything if the serial is taken off the air."
Rohit Roy's looking forward to the break as he feels that this will help them better the serial. "It will be better if it's really taking a break so that we can build an episode bank for this serial. What the production people told me was that either it will take a break or its time slot will change.
"I always do one serial at one time and if this serial goes off air then I'll become jobless."
On the other hand director Arvind Babbal who is looking forward to the
break says, "It will be good for us, we can now shoot in advance. But whether there is any change in story and characters that we still have to decide. By next week that should happen. However timing will remain the same for the show."
Well, seems like break or no break, the star cast will not be getting a break!
