It doesn't work for me either when I download from zshare. I go on mediaconverter.org and convert it like that. =)

What I do is I pause at the scene I want and press 'PrintScreen'. Then paste that into paint, and crop it to fit the scene. It's a bit tedious, and depends a lot on the quality of your video.
