As highly recommended by a friend I decided to foray into Pakistani content by watching the 1st episode of this series 'Barzakh' starring Fawad Khan on Zee5. The only thing I can say is so far soo good!

The story has a rly bizzare premise... An old Jafar, who owns Mahtab Mahal a tourist resort in the fictional Land of Nowhere set in aesthetic mountainous locations wants to get married (his ‘third and final' wedding) to Mahtab his old sweetheart. However the catch is that she's already dead. He thus invites his two widower sons Shehryar(Fawad Khan) and Saifullah. Shehryar is accompanied by his 9 year old son. Scheherzaad is the caretaker and confidante to Jafar and his resort.

One of my friend also told me today morning abt this movie nd said it was mind boggling but i dont watch Pak content so ofc i wont watch it.

Like the initial episodes were soo good. A prodigy neurosurgeon and a princess from 15th century? Fantastic concept. Shit execution.

The initial episodes had depth, plot, characterisation. Like until Tara's bhaiji got treated, I used to LOVE that show. The show was supposed to wrap up after that, but no. Hum toh Puri kahani ka kachra karenge.

Like what the f*ck was Dhruv doing after Tara's brother got cured and they confessed their love to each other, huh?! Playing Gilli danda?! Meanwhile his poor mother is waiting for him in the 21st century.

Don't even get me started about the TIME LEAP. Like what the f*ck, why?!! They brought an accha aadmi for Tara but DHRUV TOH ACCHA ADMI HI THA NA?!!!

I pretty much stopped watching the show after that, and I still believe that that was the best decision I have ever made.

Watched their promo a few days ago, and now they are apparently bringing the 'deshbhakti' angle. Ridiculous. Pathetic. This show is an abomination to human creativity. A curse on ITV. If you don't know how to execute a Time travel based show, then don't f*cking make it.

They're now reborn, probably iss baar Dhruv Tara ki shadi ho gayi hai

Bhai, I watched it till Bhaiji ka ilaaj and then said Tata bye bye.

Will watch it once 2 or 3 episodes passed....ye 1-1 epi dekhna 1 week me muje accha nai lagta

There was a scene where Tara to save herself teer chalati hain Dhruv per and that guy instead of getting angry was saying Tara ne yaha maara bcoz she knows mera heart ki jagah thodi different hain.

I was like

Pehle I used to feel bad for Dhruv but bande mein kabhi akal he nahi aayi, then I too stopped watching.

My parents were like Dhruv ko bura nahi lag raha but isko lagta hain.

I realized yeh show dekhkar faltu mera mood kharab hota hain, I just stopped seeing even a small clip of that show.

I forgot to mention one more thing..the pacing was a bit slow; everything else is likeable..
