It's not the name that matters, it's the feeling of division which arises with such stuff. Muslims, Christians and other religions apart from Hindus are in minority and such things can create a sense of isolation among them which might turn out to be disastrous in future. Already there's a lot of controversial cases like l*ve j**** going on.

People don't give a f to what's going on with nation until some propagandists enter the chat and ruin peace and harmony

And the congress actually said that Nehru is greater than shiv Shakti so what about our sentiments?

me too, I always wanted our govt to name the country as Bharat, how can Bharat is a harm to communal harmony?? It has been the name of our country since ages, i never wanted the name Britishers gave for our land, it should have been done on the day we got independence, just because they could not have the decency or knowledge to pronounce Bharat, we became India

I m sooo glad smone hv guts to do this now.. at least we r getting our identity back

I am so happy about this decision, we were Bharat for more than 5000 years and we will always be Bharatiya who comes from Bharat

One of my teachers in my school always asked us to refer to our country as Hindustan/Bharat cause that's the real name of the country and India is a name given by the Brits....the name Bharat might take some time for me to get used to but I'm definitely looking forward to this change...
