Vani Rani Episode 114 - 28 June 2013 Friday Update
Selvi finds out about her planned arranged marriage and from her parents' conversation and she does not want it to happen and claims reasons such as studies. Swami says her future husband has agreed to let her study after marriage but it will be difficult while Rani tries to convince her that she will be very happy like her mother and that Bhoomi and Swami are doing it for her own good so her future will be good. Selvi further opposes it and Swami suspecting something amiss (Rajesh's matter) asks her if studies are the only reason she is against this marriage. Selvi keeps silent and thinks while her parents convince her some more that they are making the correct decision. Selvi finally replies that she feels sad that her parents are cornering her into this marriage and tries to tell them but Swami begs her not to and says soon they are going to come to the house and see Selvi while Rani tells Swami there is no need to cry and Selvi will be good. Selvi is finally agreeing to this marriage.
Meanwhile, Mekala who has found out Karthik is in contact with her brother Manohar gets angry at him and how long he knew them. Karthi tells about how he met Poongkodi at his friend's wedding in Kanchipuram and knew she was Mano's daughter. Mekala tells him he should have forgotten her then and says she never talked about her brother since he was born and now she was suspicious since he was so affectionate towards Mano and says if his grandpa knew this, he would kill him and die. Karthik then says this whole fight is ridiculous and they are all against Mano just because he married the girl of his choice and confesses he loves Poongkodi and if he marries her, the hate between the two families will vanish. His mother asks him to stop and says love and reality are two different things and tells him to forget her and asks him to study hard. She says she has no brother, just a father and she can't lose him too because of Karthik and tells him not to break their family in two and runs into the house, crying while Karthi remains shocked and upset outside.
Meanwhile at Vani's house, Bhoomi and Anaconda are sitting down while Swami comes over and starts to talk. Bhoomi suddenly becomes very caring and asks him to go and eat before talking. Swami declines every time and finally Bhoomi gives up. Swami tells that he has convinced Selvi into marrying Sunil. Bhoomi is very surprised and really happy and starts praising Swami while smiling at Anaconda. He says he never expected Swami to be this fast and tells he will go and ask Sunil's family to come and see Selvi the next day. Swami agrees and leaves and Bhoomi offers him a treat.
Anaconda comes over and congratulates Bhoomi but is worried that Vani will interfere in this wedding and stop it. She is also confused on how Swami agreed so quickly. Bhoomi says there's a reason and it turns out he is playing with Swami' guilt of losing the money - but he's the one who actually arranged them to steal the money from Swami. Anaconda laughs and says this is how Swami should be handled. They start making plans for the ceremony of Sunil's family coming to their house to see Selvi but Anaconda is still worried that Swami will talk to Rani who will then tell it to to Vani. Bhoomi tells he will take care of that and Anaconda is contented.
Meanwhile Selvi's friends come over to a house and again they scold her for not talking to Rajesh and that her aunt Vani's word is more important to her and even if Rajesh dies, Selvi won't come to see him. Selvi says that's not true and tries to defend herself. Her friend passes her a CD from Rajesh and says he might want to talk to you through the CD and later they inform her about Rajesh's arranged marriage with his cousin. Selvi is shocked.
Later Selvi and Vani listen to the CD and they hear Rajesh apologising to Selvi and he tells about his father arranging a marriage for him and Rajesh says his wedding will only take place with Selvi and he will do his best to stop his wedding and if not he will die.
Selvi is worried hearing this while Vani is thoughtful...
