u took anthro as 2nd optional.

tho i was a science student i didn't take them bcoz both zoology & botany r v.vast sub. so i wanted such sub. which can easily b read like history & geography.

i wanted 2 take horti as one of the optional as i'd done my Grdn & PG in it but cudn't bcoz in UPSC agri. is there which included horti,agri & forestry which again makes it v.vast & science sub r difficult 2 prepare in such short time.

tho i cudn't even clear preli but still had 2 prepare 4 mains.

like in this forum I had a not so very good reputation
especially among girls ( I was staying in the only co-ed hostel at the time)
every time I was qualifying the prel. and mains
there was a sense of disbelief... in the campus keeping in mind
I never read duing day time...
my time starts after mid-night and ends in the morning...
you should have tried history/pol.sc. in prel.
because UPSC has a fixed formula which is
directly proportionately to no. of candidates applying for each subject
so in pol. sc. or history if you manage to answer correctly
about 105-110 question, you are almost through...but not in other subjects
anyway, the preparation for civil services make you
a jack of all subjects

yeha history is gud sub 4 prlim. i took history 4 prelim.4 mains history & geography bcoz apart from my science subs. i've interest in these also.

@bold so true. even we can analyse things better bcoz in every thiing & quesn & event u've 2 analyse all.and i rembr we've 2 read abt analysis & psychology 4 interviews in cometition mags.
