nish , this shaving of widow's hair was one of the malpractices followed in 16th- 19th century in maharashtra n konkan .

they periodically shave head like males do ! and don't allow it to grow!

at least this ek dish have some hairs , females used to shave it bald that tym and again shave it when their hairs would be like ekadish!
