don't be surprised if that old man is rathod's dad. he probably abandoned rathod when he married against his dad many years ago and does not even know his d-i-l and child died during birth. but tapasya's baby is his grand-daughter and his grand-daughter is uniting with grand-father through ichaa.
nowhere is the article does it say that the old man's son is dead. it only says that he had abandoned his son when he married against wishes and he wants to see his grandchild now on his deathbed.
