this pic found on the net as taken in late 1998 when the first lot of matiz cars rolled out from daewoos india plant.
General motors took over daewoo in 2003 an due to bureaucracy and corruption and legal hassles, did not buy the indian plant and hence, the plant shuttered after he company went bankrupt and collapsed. I have seen this plant in march 2002 when the last lot of matiz cars were produced for indian sale and then in 2010.the board pic was taken last week.
