Is there any limit to stupidity. I think not. This channel has more than proved it with some of the other serials as well. I have stopped watching one and soon I will stop the others too unless there is some dramatic change of direction.

But the drug addict was Mai's son and that is what is tragic. In the show's negativity they are showing a mother who most people would hate to be associated with.

I don't think Mai is taking Tapasya back only because of her being a Thakur's daughter but mainly because she may be carrying the heir to the Bundela name otherwise she would have brought Tapasya back earlier. Hypocrisy at its best.

The rich feel they have the honor of rewriting the rules on rituals and feelings just because they are wealthy and no one can fight them.

I think she is against the Devar Bhabhi connection more than Ichcha herself, although she was not falling over Ichcha with love and blessings.

Isn't it strange that Vansh is only referred to now whenever she wants to put Ichcha down. Where has all her grief at losing her eldest son gone?????I wonder!!!!!!!!!

This proves that all her guilt and concern for Veer during Vansha marriage days was very superficial...she could never feel Veer's pain as a mother...otherwise she would have herself initiated Veecha marriage proposal after Vansh's death.....and does she trusts Taps & naani more than her own son even after she got exposed.,..and knowing the truth about Taps, isnt she supposed to talk to her son on this about what is the truth...how he feels about it...even if the preg is real...under what circumstances it happened...I mean how on earth a mother could indulge in something like this, atrocious...and poor Vansh....usse to sabhi bhool chuke hain..Veer should really give a peace of his mind to this lady and remind her of Vansh's suicide..his last wish....

BOLD - With Mai, it will not work. She only sees what she wants to see and what that duckface Chanda wants her to see. I think if you hit her on the head with a hammer she still would not face up to her mistakes.

I agree with you on the point that mai is taking tapasya for her heir, ignoring the fact that she is the cause for destroying the lives of both her sons. She could have claimed her grandchild only and need not have taken Tapasya along. Veer could claim custody of the child and get it also because of Tapasya's criminal deeds. She is pushing her motherly rights and authority on Veer a bit too far by thrusting Tapasya on him. She would not have done the same had it been Ichcha in Tapasya's place. She would have thought of paying her off. That is what I meant when I said that Tapasya being a thakur's daughter helps even if she is a criminal.
About the Devar Bhabhi connection- She knew only too well that they were lovers engaged to be married. How could she get her married to Vansh in the first place? By doing that she did injustice to Vansh also. She never told him the truth about Veer- Ichcha engagement. She told him that she did not want him to marry her because she was a maid's daughter. When she is ok with the elder son marrying the younger son's lover, there is no point in her observing any of the rituals. There is a total moral bankruptcy there on her part. Combine it with ignorance, arrogance, and power- a dreadful combo- this is what we have- complete chaos in the lives of everyone under her rule.
