Written Update-February 12th, 2010

Vansh and Tapu together enter Gunwatti's room. Tapu nudges Vansh to speak to Gunwatti. Vansh is hesitating. Seeing his discomfort, Gunwatti asks Vansh what is the matter? Tapu, with a satisfied grin on her face, urges Vansh to speak his heart to Mai with full confidence. She tells Mai, that Vansh Bhaiyya has not changed his decision and still wishes to marry Ichha, and that he wants Mai to meet with Damini and ask for Ichha's hand, as early as tomorrow. Conceding, Mai agrees, which brings a smile on Vansh's face and ecstasy on Tapu's.

Ichha is walking to her "patshala" in her basti when a couple of students playfully drag her to see their new school's building under construction. There she finds Veer instructing some laborers on the site. Ichha is surprised. Veer approaches her and tells her this school will make his Ichha happy. Veer says that in the past few days he had lost touch with her feelings and aspirations, and that he wants to reconnect with his old Ichha and make her happy. And, this school will make that happen. On the contrary, Ichha tells him that of late, he does not understand her, or her needs, at all. She says that she has been trying to convey a simple thought to him that he seems completely oblivious too. Ichha reiterates once again that her happiness lies with her family, and that she can never be happy at the expense of Tapu. She tells Veer that she can never be happy without Tapu in her life. Veer says that he does want her to sever her ties with Tapu, only not break hers with him. Ichha solemnly thanks Veer for his concern and says that neither she nor her students need his help. And as for fulfilling her dreams, she tells Veer, that all she ever wanted was a simple, small school, one that was built on her own efforts, without the help of anyone, not even her beloved father (Thakur Sahib). She tells Veer that she feels he has hijacked her "sapna" by building this grand construction around it, and walks away with tears in her eyes. Veer is saddened by her response.

Tapu and Gunwatti visit Tapu's parents at their home. Gunwatti politely asks Damini to sit with them as she wishes to talk to her. Nani and Mami also join in. Gunwatti's addresses all and says that she has come to make a request, which may not be well received by Thakur sahib. She says that she could not have gathered the will to come here today without the support of Tapu. Tapu is smiling demurely at her parents and Damini.

Gunwatti's continues and informs Thakur sahib that he does not know how relentless her son is, and is about to say Vansh, when Tapu quickly interjects and says, yes, Mai my papa knows all about your son's determined nature. Gunwatti continues and says that after a long time her son is finally happy, and she has come here, to seek that happiness for him. Folding her hands respectfully, she requests for Ichha's hand in marriage for her son, from Damini. Thakur sahib is pleased at the proposal, along with Tapu. Taking advantage of the moment, Tapu adds that her father should accept this proposal as it will help mend the relations between their two families. Gunwatti agrees and is about to say to say Vansh, when Tapu again distracts everyone's attention by tripping the servant serving drinks. Continuing, Gunwatti says that she does not want to hide anything from anyone when, once again, she is stopped by Tapu who says, Mai let bygones be bygones.Gunwatti tells everyone that she hasn't shared her decision with Veer, to which Tapu replies, Veer will only be too happy as Ichha is the type of person who will lighten up the life of anyone, right Ammo.

Next, Ichha enters the living room with a solemn look on her face and is shocked to hear from Thakur sahib that Veer's mom had just asked her hand in marriage for her son. Thakur sahib tells Ichha, that soon she and Veer will be joined together forever, and that true love has prevailed all. A surprised Ichha does not know what to say, and with that the episode ends.

now we can watch another marriage just like we watched
