Veer tells Tapu, he knew what what she was thinking that he would slip seeing her in such a state and that after this he will become hers. Veer says he knows Nani teaches her these ideas. Veer says how irritated he was to see her in this state. Veer says she doesnt' even know the meaning of love and that he knows she has no love for him, she just wants to get hold of him somehow. Veer says that in his eyes, she has fallen down.
Veer tightly holds her hand and says now he will show her what she is for him. He takes her infront of the mirror and says that she is extremely beautiful, but extremely selfish and that she only loves herself. Veer says he is wasting his time. Chanda is hiding and listening.
Tapu asks him so he knows the meaning of love. Veer says love between him and Icha is true love, but she would never understand that. He says that with her own father she has been so selfish. Tapu says that she really loves Veer and that she wants to see love and respect for her in his eyes. Veer rudely says that it is never possible.
Tapu brings Icha in between and starts so only they both know about true love. Tapu tells Veer to go and get Icha here now. Veer is quiet. Tapu says if that is true love he would have got her any way and tried his best, he could have changed his destiny like she did.
Tapu goes on and says even if Icha wanted, she could have cut her wrist and could have ran down to the mandap if she had true love for him and noone could have stopped her. Her weekness stopped her.
Tapu says if Veer did true love, noone could have stopped him from getting his true love. Veer looks down and is quiet.

Veer is standing outside alone in the balcony and remembering Tapu's words and is disturbed. Veer cries. Chanda who has listened everything, thinks of taking advantage of the situation. Chanda comes in to Tapu's room and Tapu puts her ghunghat. Chanda tells that she only stayed back to look after Tapu. Tapu starts her taunts. Tapu says she doesnt' wants to talk to anyone and wants to stay alone. Chanda sees Tapu angry and says she looks angry and that she saw Veer also very angry. Chanda asks if the husband-wife had a fight. Tapu rudely tells Chanda, what would she know about a husband-wife relationship.
Chanda says thats right, she wont' know about, husband-wife relationship, but knows about Thakur's life.
Chanda says that she like Tapu, and that she knows Veer very well. She says if someone falls from Veer's eyes, he can never rise.
Chanda says she knows Veer hant' accepted her after marriage, but the other family members have accepted her.
Chanda says till the time her husband was there, everyone accepted her, but once he died, everything got snatched from her, neither servants accepted her. Chanda says what if Veer gets a second bride, her life would be worse than a widow. Chanda says a woman can be very beautiful, but what if the husband doesnt' love her, her life can be miserable. Chanda says now she will remember "kanhaji" and sleep on the cold floor.
