Why is Fateh unhateable?

I really do not understand this... No one is really capable of hating Fateh in the show.

They all call his affair a 'galti' instead of 'gunah'

Imagine in his position if it was Tejo (or any other FL in any show), then everyone expects them to prove their loyalty almost everyday. And if she somehow makes a mistake then a mountain is created out of a mole.

Tejo is understandable because the writers think that Tejo and Fateh are the endgame so (I said understandable from a writer's POV but not acceptable from common sense )

But all Tejo's family members and Fateh's family members treat as if he was hoodwinked by evil Jasmine. (Which is kinda true..plus he is dumb that anyone can do it) But no matter how much he was under the influence of Jasmine, the Affair was consensual. He knew what he was doing. But NOOOOO he was just being the Bhola Bhala why was snatched by the chudail Jasmine.

** Sidenote**And is it just me or they treat Fateh as though he is the only child of the Virk family?

They have Simran, Amrik, Mahi (and even the unnamed(?) and unseen son of Maachi)but it always feels as though all the love and affection is for Fateh. ** Sidenote**

But most importantly Jasmine. Fateh married her sister, became intimate with her, he planned all the fake marriage thing, he burned her passport, he crushed her dreams... so according to logic she should extract her revenge from Fateh right? But NOOOO she instead blames Tejo. Why? seriously why ? How did Tejo destroy anything?

Atleast Jasmine could hate Fateh.. But Nooo...

no its because Tejo is the female lead so obviously every villain will be obsessed with her, all the problems are upon her to solve, she has to be unrealistically nice and understanding to every crime done by her "apne". That's why!

I've said it before when I was active in the Pandya Store forum but basically my theory is that if the ML is visually attractive-he can get away with anything.

It doesn't matter if its an EMA or if he accuses someone of being characterless or any other kind of gaslighting or abuse.

Literally if he is an attractive ML he is gold and even if people see the toxicity they will still rather have the ML grovel for 0.2 seconds and still end up having a happy ending with the FL rather then the FL living her life either alone or with a non-toxic partner.

Unfortunate but I see it all the time. People will still choose Fateh over Angad, or Aditya over Aryan (Imlie reference), and love Shiva (Pandya Store refernce).

I'm truly over it

It was not gunaah. It was galti by every means. You cannot hate your child if he ends up doing it . But surely you will dislike him and be embarrassed of your upbringing. Take corrective actions.

Hating is a big deal . It needs something of crime and horrid.It was emotionally torterous for Tejo. Specially it came from a man she loved. It was embarrassment for family as it came from their son they took pride in. But Fateh never crossed his line of respect ,care and goodness neither did Tejo and family loose their belief in his goodness . But for Tejo Fateh will always be a trust issue whatsoever he does to wash away the pain he gave Tejo through his EMA.

Everybody dislikes Jasmine and in fact her father hates her. Why coz girl is audacious of doing wrong and never accepting she is wrong. At least Fateh says he is wrong even though justifies himself in name of love. And now when he realised he has been a fool all along he just left everybody and everything as he feels he has no reason to have it.

What Fateh did was gunah. Not a galti but gunah because he ditched and hurt the person who stood by him when Jasmin refused to marry him. He never crossed a line because Tejo did a lot for him. But when you introduce your saali as your wife, when you accuse your wife having an EMA just to satisfy your toxic masculinity that you are not at fault for EMA, When you ask your family to oust Tejo just so that you can live with Jasmin, It's certainly a gunaah. And did he not know Jasmin's true colors? He knew what she did with Gippy, still he loved her. And what if Jas hasn't told him about Jasmin's evil doings? He would have married her. What Jasmin did was evil but Fateh isn't a Saint either. But Problem in ITV is only females are backlashed for EMA and males are excused ki wo bhatak gaya tha, us ladki k changul mein phas gya tha, ladki ne uspe kala jadoo kar dia tha blah blah. Yes you don't hate your children but that doesn't mean you turn blind to their wrong doings. What punishment did Fateh got from his family? None.

I hate feteh and the way they made angad role like Mali.. -ive as in tamrind on plus tv I quit this show from now onward. To make main lead right they are going at any length. This idiotic serial now they watch only. I agree with you every point.

I am a Part of ghum fd.....Coming to udaariyan I think if angad was positive and fateh was sincerely shown redemption the story had high scope and they could have bring a good trageic past for angad such as his wife cheated him...riya is his wife's daughter but not his...and his wife death and he took child responsibility....and jasmine...completely ruined....pschyo criminal and tejo remember fateh as pure husband.....in real world no one will accept fateh....but these shows create an impact once married or fallen in love you should remain with than man

Coming to tamarind..at first I liked malini than leads...in order to gain sympathy for leads they ruined her..its a remake but in orginal bengali show she remains positive and then moves on.....the central character even after seeing her husband getting married to other woman ...works as servant in the house...later play wife with him...and then ml disowns her...then also her concept of husband God.....

Anu aunty....i don't know about intial episodes...but the thing I don't like is she choose her husband family....Normal woman won't tolerate that in laws even after divorce
