What Fateh did with Chameli on rhe airport was the best thing he's ever done in his life, hands down. He played her the way she plays everyone else around her. She's not spared ANYONE at all, and has stooped to the limits.
Fateh wanted to hurt her and that he did. One thing constant about his character, even during ema phase, even when he's acting an asshole through and through, he'd never let anyone hurt tejo, especially physically. He's ridiculously, sometimes pointlessly protective of her. One of the best scenes which portray this, is motel scene. They're all in a very shady motel, and his sole focus was on tejo and defending her from police!!!??? Like she's not even in danger. The moment jasmine went after tejos life during jass kaand, any affection he had for jasmine was over. He's been plotting this revenge for a long time. Jasmine doesn't care for anyone or anything. Reputation, integrity, family, honor, it's all pointless to her. Nothing but Canada... And F used this weakness. He let her believe that she's achieving everything... He let her throw tantrums, badmouth tejo, hurt her... Because he wanted her on that spot. It's just beautiful.
Had Virks known that F hasn't left, they'd have been overjoyed and dragged Fateh back home. F doesn't want that. He's chosen his own punishment... That he doesn't deserve any love, comfort of his family.
