I understand why Suraj obeys hyar, he thinks he's a slave whose duty is to obey his masters' orders, still it's hard to imagine someone who has no personality or opinion, but I think that's how they want to show Suraj, his only purpose in life is to obey hyar, and that's why they haven't shown more of him. This should change now that Chakor is affecting him and stopping him from following their orders.
IMO it's too early to show flashbacks of what happened to Suraj, we'll get those when he starts to regain his memories but they should start showing him thinking of Chakor's words and questioning hyar's actions.
I don't consider this leap as a track, it's Udaan 3, a new Udaan. The first track is about how Chakor will change Suraj, the next track about how he'll join hands with her against hyar and so on
