I think this is part of his memory back scene, he's transformed back to old Suraj.

In the first picture, I think he's holding his bandhua chain in his hand. He's removed it and became free.

I don't think he's been attacked, they wanted to show him reborn.

Guys just now in sbas the voice over was saying, dekhna suraj gaonwale tumhara kya haal karenge when they come to know that you have tricked chakor to come to the hill...actually after chakor leaves for the hill, suraj comes for the pooja...As usual i think he doesn't understand why he has come for the pooja...ideally he should have been hiding because everybody thinks that he is on the hill to meet chakor...Seeing him there, kasturi understands his plan and gets angry...

So I don't know whether this mud wala scene is he getting beaten by the villagers!!!

Also kasturi in the IV was saying that I have just held your throat now, see later what all will happen to you!!And VJ was all smiling.

I think Chakor won't go there as Manju present in pooja and she may reveal RV's plan to her.

it really pains to see VJ just putting in so much efforts ... What a dedication but sometimes I feel he is being subjected to too much while the wooden block gets away with no strain etc.
