So there was a little girl.

a free spirited little one who spread her tiny wings and soared.

a girl who belonged to the skies.

a girl who owned the skies.

world shackled her feet even before she was born.

her wings refused to bow down.

people chained her spirit.

she refused to break down.

fate bonded her to slavery and hell.

she stared right back the fate and hell with defiance.

she believed in herself.

she trusted her wings.

and she soared.

shackles couldn't stop her.

chains couldn't stop her.

treachery couldn't stop her.

bonds couldn't stop her.

hate couldn't break her.

her wings were strong. her wings were relentless. her wings were infallible.

and she soared.

and then came love...

and broke her wings.

what the hate of the entire world couldn't do... the most beautiful gift of the world did it... broke her spirit.

what darkness couldn't manage... light made it happen...

razed her heart and soul to dust.

shattered her to million and one pieces.

torn her wings... and all that remained is the girl with no soul, no heart, no spirit and no wings... to soar.

what hate couldn't do... love made it happen.

love... reduced that free spirited bird of high skies to... a girl with broken wings.

But this time, our chakor is going to mend her broken wings.. and she will fly again ...cant wait to see her kick ass mode...i want to see her give it back to her lousy husband and his mistress... cuz no one messes with chakor... three cheers for you!...u go girl!

Yeah . She shud make t clear that sje s not a punching bag Well NOT anymore . Wat she s going thru now s partly het fault . het fault of forgiving her "dear" sister for all her mistake covering her all the time . For giving nsuraj the idea that chakor will.not hold grudge so long ( suraj even himself said that he thought chakor gussa karega but after sometime will come back to h ) . She shud make suraj prove himself prove jis live gibe closure to imli.love. je shud make t clear to her as well as us that if he get a chance to go back to imli and je WILL NOT and if chakor s not there then he prefer to live alone . He need to prove that she s nit his second best option since he s not able to get his sacha pyaar imli . And in tje meantime I want chakor to be back n her KICK ASD mode , do something with her life . I really wish sje go back to her sports career atleast as a coach

Even I want to see a strong Chakor who sheds her jagat maata attitude for once and make it clear to ppl especially her lousy husband and sister that she's no punching bag and wont accept crap from anyone...let her fulfill her promise to set the villagers free and start thinking abt her own future, her career for which she went through so much hardship...

But knowing how lousy these cvs are, I don't have too much hope this will ever happen. Coz instead of seeing a strong Chakor , we see a Chakor who sheds tears all the time

I want to see the free-spirited girl we came across a lot of times.

I want to see her back in form to teach lessons to those who are making her bend.

No one can hurt us more than our dear ones. It's in their power to break us or make us! Emotional support is our biggest strength. Take that away from us and we will become vulnerable in a second!

Your post reminded me of a line from the movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 when the president Snow says to Katniss:

"Ms. Everdeen, it's the things we love the most that destroy us."

I don't remember reading it in the book, but it goes so well with the story as the president knew how much certain people meant to Katniss and by taking them down or turning them against her as he did with Peeta, her best friend, will weaken her will to fight. She could survive in the arena two times, but she couldn't go through the emotional turmoil of loosing the ones she loved.

I'll post the trailer here which contains the line as now, with your post in my mind, it almost feels that Snow is speaking to Chakor... as this line was written for her as well:
