What defined Suraj's character ever since his childhood was the love and respect that he had for his father. He always wanted to make him proud of his son.
I don't know, ever since may Suraj is acting out of the character, killing his father, the sudden interes in Imli. He was bad, but not this bad. It is like they made him more evil espacially for this wedding.

Maybe he can have an emotional breakdown in the future which may help in his redemption? He always wanted to make his dad proud but then his dad tried to kill him. Given his character, it is expected of him to seek revenge. That's what he does. If Vivaan's distrust on Chakor is accepted because of his past experiences, why not Suraj's anger?

haan and i feel that he was always trying to prove his worth to his father and said so many times and his father always put him down and more so in front of vivaan. kn who once did not let suraj in the same room when he opened his safe gave the safe number to vivaan and made him trustee of all his property and also tried to kill suraj. i think suraj was sufficiently let down by his father for all the love and faith he had in him and it all slowly probably turned to hatred

but all said and done inspite of all that suraj has done and is doing am finding myself rooting for this guy and actually wanting him to win in whatever he does.. am not able to identify myself with the heroine of the show or with the hero of the show !! even in the scenes in which chakor is crying profusely am rooting for suraj. is it only me or is it the same for all of you ? and also i like kn too . so i think these two guys have simply taken over the show with their amazing acting
