Startled: Prologue
She dropped. Her face pierced with an intense gaze. Dropping her position from what it was before, she got into a comfortable position. That way she could concentrate on what was coming in her way, the hit, the run all that she could do within seconds and no one could notice what was there or coming their way. She was like the wind, hard and strong and totally unnoticeable.
She crossed the bridge, running at the speed of life, a natural person would have been shocked in any of this was happening in front of their eyes in slow motion, but the way she ran was something you or anyone would ever describe.
"Come here"
The wind grew as a howl and a groan escaped her lips and then the animal stood or lay dead in front of her eyes. The commotion was finally to an end, the noise that was coming out of the animal's mouth came to a stop. She stood as she watched the breathing stopped the wind slowed down against her fresh skin. Her new but old skin
"Nessa!" a voice from far behind came, as she turned around she smiled. Her smile widening up ever second she saw. Her eyes darted back to the lion, which was dead in front of her now, she then glanced at her clothes; No damage done, prefect, she thought. It did run in the family, and she was like her father. She was her father, her father's instincts and her mother's looks as well as her dads.
"Nessa, come on" she turned back to face her daddy. He was her life, that's what he always said to her and her mommy at night.
"Coming daddy" she watched his face soften at her words, it was the same as his, their lips and talks were alike, they sounded like melodies while her mother was the harmony between them.
She ran like the wind right into his arms, as he hugged her perfectly within him. He rocked his angel in his arms for a while laying a hand on her head, lacing his fingers in through her hair, patting her on her hand.
"Renessme"
