Rob recently shared his thoughts on New Moon with Reuters. He said that New Moon is a different story from the first film, Twilight.

"The book of 'New Moon,' the majority of it is incredibly depressing," Pattinson told Reuters. "Obviously 'Twilight' was about finding first love and the difficulties of that, but 'New Moon' is really about loss and reconciliation, but the reconciliation isn't completely full."

"It's a strange story to have for a market that, I guess, wants to see a love story," he said.

really...but to some actually completely agree wiv him... as much as i love the whole twilight saga, new moon is the one dat i didn't like so much... only becuz edward was not dere for most of it!!!! i only liked the ending wen dey were together!!!!

i agree, it is depressive...but in a good way for me
but as strange as it may sound...thats part of the reason as to why i love it
i think the transition from a happy-ish love story of Twilight to New Moon was great
but it seemed like a full reconciliation to me...i mean, when she saves him and their whole conversation...😳
