Ria's designer dress gets smudged because of the pee of Girish's baby girl but she has no option but to squirm her nose and accept the things. She is about to move out in disgust when she bangs into Pakhi standing at the door. Pakhi smiles at her and asks her to accept these responsibilities as this is what marriage is about.

Girish Lavanya fight

Pakhi sees Lavanya hold a strict stance and tells her that Girish has taken out amazing crockery for the "cheap si ladki" Ria and will now be serving her food in Lavanya's favorite anniversary crockery.

Lavanya stamps her feet in a fury and comes and splashes water all over Girish in her temper. She reprimands him for using their crockery for Ria and reminds him that he had bought her all that for her anniversary. Hearing her comment, Girish smiles and says that they have no relationship as Lavanya is too busy with her mother and brand name.

They end up having a huge fight and Girish grabs Lavanya by the arm and starts to yell at her. He tugs her inside the room as Ria looks on shocked at the aggressive behavior of Girish. Seeing Ria's confusion and disgust, Pakhi says that she should be used to this as she has seen her parents fight since childhood. She reminds her of the terrible emotional state of the children as they witness fights between their parents. Ria looks on stunned at the helpless cries of the baby girl echoing in the background.

Pakhi tells her that when a third person enters a marriage, the kids break up emotionally. Insisting that it is normal, and a part of their adjustment process. Pakhi tells Ria that she has always been aware of such facts as she has seen Kirti fight with her husband frequently in the past. She insists that she knows that Ria has seen the shattering of her dreams in childhood and is now turning into the second woman and will be the reason for another person's family breaking. Ria turns back and says that there is a difference as her parents had loved each other and there is no affection between Girish and Lavanya. She rudely claims that there is no love between the couple and she is a welcome change for Girish as she will look after his kids to perfection and be another "Kirti" to them.

Veer grasps Pakhi's hands

Veer reprimands Pakhi for involving him in the case and says that he is a failure all the way as he has never been able to make any successful decision in his life. He says that it was the easiest possible thing to prove to the courts that she is the best mother for Ayaan but his association with Kirti and Ria have led to her hanging in between. He tells her that she may lose Ayaan because he is the dark shadow in her life and asks her to burn down all his degree papers.

Pakhi tells him that when parents bring up kids they think that their kids will be successful always. She says that the vow is taken by the parents for their kids. She says that one should never leave "Umeed and Bharosa". Pakhi says that Ria has always lost since childhood and is now feeling that her emotions can be realized through Girish. She tells him that Ria is Kirti's daughter and it's not in her nature to be a mean home breaker.

Veer agrees that Ria is Kirti's daughter and can't be that wrong and she will surely make well in the situation. Veer thanks her and grabs the hand she lays on his shoulder. He looks deeply into her eyes and then profusely thanks her.

Lavanya comes to her mother and starts to cry saying that she needs to be healthy for her sake as she is losing all her relations. Devki tells her that she has to be strong as they just need Ayaan's custody for things to become well. Devki asks her to go and eat something and promises her that things will become fine after Aryaman comes back. Lavanya starts to cry that she is petrified for her children and remembers her household.
